So, NaNoWriMo 2006 approaches; the boards are open for sign-ups and posting, and I’m getting rather excited.
I’m dithering on what to write though. Although it’s generally recommended that you don’t continue previously-written material, and some people don’t like working on sequels to past stuff either, I think I’ll be writing some more of Maridan’s story – the second part of it, rather than the first, since that’s been left in limbo longer and isn’t fresh in my mind.
We have meetings already arranged for Belfast, anyway, thanks to the Creative Writers Network, who are sponsoring us some meeting time in the Cathedral Arts Quarter. I still need to work out a kick-off meeting though, probably for October 30th.
Although my own work-in-progress has been neglected too much lately, I’m looking forward to pushing myself into writing again.
